Lucky was designed on the subway to work. I often draw as I travel, you get used to the motion in pretty quickly. Anyway, I took the sketch into Photoshop and did some simple coloring there. I wanted a real child-like approach to the coloring, so I pruposefully went outside the lines. I threw in the Wonderbread style backdrop at the last minute in an attempt to give it a silly but fun look. Not sure how well that turned out though...
